CAR RENTALS IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Standard Terms & Conditions
Minimum age – 18 – 25 – 30 years depending on the vehicle model.
Driving: operating already for at least a year for the category “city cars” and a minimum of 2 years for the other categories.
Rally – Rates include 250 km run on the day. The cost of additional miles depending on the vehicle model.
Minimum rental period: 1 day = 24 hours. Starting with three extra hours the day of the lease.
Gasoline \ diesel – extra charge.
Credit cards – 1 or 2, depending on the category and model of the car. Visa, Master card Eurocard, American Express, Diners Club.
Insurance – The rent includes unlimited insurance contract liability to third parties, as well as insurance to limit liability for damage to or theft of the car. Full deposit, the amount of which depends on the vehicle may be reduced by an additional insurance. Car rental company reserves the right to refuse to decrease the total amount of the deposit. In the case of credit cards issued in Russia, Russian banks are blocking the amount of one month or more, even if the cancellation was made on the part of the company’s car rental by phone or in writing.
Rates – are subject to change without notice.
Selection of the car – a confirmation of the cost of the vehicle (prices per day, shipping and return of the vehicle, additional options, additional kilometers, the size of the franchise) and the provision of all necessary information about the vehicle (type gearbox, the year of the car, options, number of seats, the view fuel, the body color and interior (for exclusive models)).
For reservations must provide the following information
– completed application form indicating the credit (s) card (s), passport details, date and place of birth, number, date and place of issue of driver’s license.
– permanent residential address and work address, contact details of the car renter in the country (for example, the name of the hotel), the number of mobile phone for emergency communications
– a form of payment of the rent
– desired car model – the date \ time \ taking place \ surrender car (if the capture and delivery of the car is at the airport, the flight data)
– if you wish to reduce the total amount of the deposit with the extra insurance (if authorized to do so by the car rental companies).
– additional options: ski rack ( for bookings in the winter), GPS, and for which countries, child seat, additional driver, etc.
Penalties – following are common sanctions in case of cancellation car. Penalties vary from car rental period, so please specify this information when you make your order. a) All vehicles, which provides postage charge (except for deliveries to the airports of Geneva, Zurich, Paris, Nice), the following penalties:
– 3 days prior to taking the car to rent: no penalties;
– From 72 to 24 hours: 50% of the cost of 3 days rental of the vehicle; – Less than 24 hours: 100% of the cost of the vehicle.
– For late change of date to rent (within 24 hours) or after delivery of the car, amount of rent, will be calculated from the date contemplated by the original booking.
– In case of cancellation of the booking category “city cars” are less than 24 hours will be charged at the rate of payment for delivery to the point of taking a car to rent.
